Caring for the Environmentsustainablehouse gas and energy management
Our main indicators for energy management are the disclosure and control of sustainablehouse gas emissions and the electricity consumption intensity of our plants (kWh per million of revenue). While there will be an increase in sustainablehouse gas emissions in 2020 due to increased production volume compared to 2019, overall electricity intensity will decreased by 4.7% in 2020 compared to 2019 due to an improvement plan to optimize production management and enhance the efficiency of chilled water mainframe operations. We will continue to optimize and control our energy consumption in order to achieve our environmental protection goals of energy saving and reduction of carbon emission..



Water resource management
As water is one of the most important energy sources on earth, TONG HSING ELECTRONIC IND., LTD. is committed to sound water management, continuous improvement of process recovering rate without compromising quality, and continuous efforts to maximize water efficiency at the plant.
Even with the increasing production volume, the Water Productivity Intensity (WPI) of TONG HSING ELECTRONIC IND., LTD. has decreased slightly by 0.37% from 95.53 tonnes per million NTD in 2019 to 95.17 tonnes per million NTD in 2020. Production value. Waste management
TONG HSING ELECTRONIC IND., LTD. has continued in strengthening its waste management. In addition to the compliance with the law and regulation, Tong Hsing is proactive about the reduction of waste amount and classification of the waste for processing, thereby promoting the recycle ratio of the waste.
With the efforts of every employee, Tong Hsing has lowered the waste intensity (WI) from 0.2 ton/ Million NTD production in 2019 to 0.18 ton/ Million NTD production in 2020 by a reduction ratio of 9.94%. We will keep up our endeavor in protecting the environment.

溫室氣體與能源管理
同欣遵守「溫室氣體減量及管理法」 ,並以國際ISO 14064-1:2018標準審視營運造成的溫室氣體排放量,同時每年揭露公司溫室氣體排放量。2023年溫室氣體排放量為87,747 tCO2e,因2023年組織邊界新增八德廠區,故溫室氣體排放量相較於2022年的80,839 tCO2e增加約8.5%。電力為本公司主要溫室氣體排放源,未來將持續針對電力使用進行減量規劃,並增加再生能源的使用,致力於優化能源使用與管控,為實現節能減碳的環境目標持續努力。



水資源管理
水是維繫地球生命及生態平衡的關鍵資源。同欣致力於完善水資源管理,自2021年起,同欣逐步投資建設研磨與 切割廢水回收處理系統,利用超濾膜和板框式壓濾機進行水處理,實現製程用水的回收再利用。2023年,同欣總取水量為1,177,869噸,回收水量為8,280,304噸。相比2022年,總取水量下降11.3%(2022年為1,328,138噸),回收水量下降2.3%(2022年為8,472,972噸)。同欣將持續推進水資源使用效率最大化,並不斷提升水資源管理水平。

廢棄物管理
同欣依循環境政策管理原則,從源頭審慎評估原物料對環境的影響程度,各廠除以能資源KPI控管並推動相關減廢及回收工作,無論是廢棄物的收集、儲存、轉移、處置,持續強化廢棄物管理措施,除了法規面之遵循外,積極落實廢棄物減量,並對於可再利用之廢棄物持續強化廢棄物管理措施,對於可再利用之廢棄物,並導入循環經濟概念,發展製程廢棄物的第二生命周期。2022年相較於2021年,廢棄物總量下降441噸,廢棄物密集度下降31.11%。我們將持續努力為環境保護盡心盡力。
